Around Central Park is an area called Museum Mile.  Here's some pictures of three of them.  First the Guggenheim.  Frankly, I was a little disappointed.

The outside of the building is as unique as most Frank Lloyd Wright buildings.  You can buy original works of the masters right outside the museum.  They're just a tad cheaper than the ones inside.

The cat wants to see the inside of the museum.  The cat always gets what she wants.
